#17 Home of Gypsy Jack

This is the former home of a Flint man named Gypsy Jack. The home is located at the Davison Rd and Olive Ave cross streets.

Gypsy Jack is rembered as a cordial guy, and his home was decked out in all kinds of colorful ornaments that made the place look straight out of a western film.

FlintExpirates.com has a wealth of information from visitors commenting on their memories of Jack - check out that article here: http://www.flintexpats.com/2008/04/homedale-elementary-and-wild-west.html

Below are some highlights which I pulled from that website:

"The hippie took us down to the basement and, as I clutched grandma's hand, revealed a built-in replica of a frontier jail, complete with a mannequin dressed as a sheriff and outlaw dummy in a small cell."

"I'll never forget the day Gypsy Jack stumbled into the intersection and proceeded to moon cars in three directions. "

Here is also an mlive.com article about the sale of his property. It includes some photos of the home with all of the paraphernalia, as well as an old photo of Gypsy Jack himself.
