#4 Community Burn

Last night at 12:20am, about a block from this building, a 20 year old female was shot in the face. A male was also shot in the leg. The female was listed in critical condition but thats the last I heard of it. It's sick. It's raw. It's a reality for some. I drive this route in the middle of the night sometimes to just drive by and check on my mother who lives about 10 blocks north.

Back in the day (1998-ish) this building used to be the East Side Comminuty Center if I recall correctly. I was about 12 years old at the time but I remember my brother hanging out down there quite a bit.
